AGRALIM Fair was held between 1 and 4 September 2016, in the field, on an area of 10 hectares of land in the Romanian village Miroslava, Iaşi, at Ezăreni Farm, a didactic farm of the Agronomy University of Iaşi.
Over 150 companies and national and international brands of agricultural machinery, livestock, solutions and equipment for horticulture inputs, suppliers of complete solutions for farms and service providers for agriculture met to present their products to farmers over several days, including live demonstrations of equipment and machinery. They could also admire animals from the following categories: Holstein and Angus cattle, Carabasa sheep, Texel, Suffolk, Ţurcană, Dorper, and Saanen goats.
In the second part of the fair, a great part of the visitors was children who have shown interest in technology but also for animals.
PANTHEON Farming is a core ERP of the Agro IT – EU funded project
Datalab Agro Ro offered visitors the opportunity to learn more about its products – integrated software solutions for their farm. The exhibition was part of the AgroIT project through which PANTHEON Farming contributes to building an open agro IT platform. The project’s greater goal concerns sustainability of agricultural production in Europe.
It is difficult to ask for SW in farming
The Romanian team from Datalab Agro explained to farmers how possible improvements across farming business could be made, presenting aspects related to farm management, organization of documents, preparation and issuing of reports and also information on warning systems in vineyards, orchards and for crops.
